There are some important items the organizer will need to know before he/she gets started organizing your company:
- Number of Security Officers (no supervisors).
- Tours worked.
- Benefits you presently have (if any). This will include vacations, sick time, holidays, personal days, bereavement leave, pension plans and medical.

| What has the Special and Superior Officers Benevolent Association done in the Security industry? |

| The Special and Superior Officers Benevolent Association was the driving force in getting Peace Officer status for the Security industry. Presently we have a proposed bill (S. 2357) in the Senate awaiting final vote before it is passed into law. This bill will provide the Security Officers working in private hospitals the training needed in handling psychiatric patients. |
